City of Parga

Parga is a town and municipality located in northwestern part of the regional unit of Preveza in Epirus, northwestern Greece. Parga lies on the Ionian coast between the cities of Preveza and Igoumenitsa. It's a town known for it's scenic beauty. When I first arrived I was impressed by the place. And I wanted to make a post to share it a with you.

* CASTLE OF PARGA (view of Parga)

So the castle is located at the top of a hill overlooking the town, originally built in 11th century. The view is amazing, and it's making this place more amazing.. 

Stairs that is taking you to the castle are actually made as a bazaar. The shops are on the both sides so is making the way to the castle more interesting.

Little island of Virgin Marie church (you can go there with a boat or swimming) 

* PARGA AT NIGHT

* PISO KRIONERI BEACH 

For me this is the most beautiful beach of all. It's all with rocks, but the water is colder then the other beaches. 

* KRIONERI BEACH

Krioneri beach is like the main beach, and it's located in the middle of the Parga. 

It's very beautiful place and it's worth to visit.
